Share 'Online templates or forms for students'

I have been asked to produce a number of templates for the Library for notemaking, brainstorming etc. I need the formating/information to stay the same but allow the students to download them and then fill them in with required information as they would a written sheet. Can anyone give my ways of doing this so that the page does not expand or loose formating? Thanks
