I am Brenda Walsh and in teach in the south west of Ireland :) quite a way from australia. I am on a career break at present.
I qualified way back in the 80s :) and taught in Lesotho and South Africa. I was working in the corporate world most of my time in SA. I returned to ireland in 2002 and re-entered the teaching profession.
I have recently completed my master in educational technologies and used Moodle for the first time which is how I came across this group. Moodle hasn't really arrived in Irish education yet. There are a few schools using it but not many.
I am travelling to Perth this Friday and would love the opportunity of seeing how it is used in australian schools. I am working at senior primary level. I leave Perth again on Thursday 19th
